Man swallows knife to avoid arrest!

I was shocked when I read this. I am amazed he even made it out alive.

Doctors say a man who swallowed a three-inch knife to avoid charges of possessing a weapon is lucky to be alive.

I am very suprised he made it 8 months with it stuck in his throat! Criminals will do just about anything to avoid being put into jail. It would be interesting to know if they could go back and charge him with the crime!

Well, no one ever said criminals are loaded with common sense. I would like to know how on earth he didnt know it was there for that long. Good grief!
