Frances is constantly urinating in a "half crouch" position, so that most of the urine stays in the box but some of it hits the lip of the box and drips over. He seems to hug the sides of the box rather than using the middle. He NEVER has accidents (going outside of the box altogether) but I don't know what to do, I clean it all the time but the smell is getting to me!!!

Hmm... I don't really know how to make him move over, or anything like that. Could you maybe get a bigger litterbox? Then maybe he wouldn't stay so close to the edge?

Jeeps sometimes does this. We have a large litterbox with no litter in it and put her regular size box inside it. Any overspill ends up in the larger box which is easily cleaned and disinfected.

Woo-hoo! Why didn't I think of that...a smaller litterbox inside of a BIGGER litterbox to prevent spill over? I'll get it this weekend. THANK YOU!!!

Check Home Depot, or Lowes, or similar.

The Mortar/Cement Mixing pans/tubs are usually purrfectly sized (and last I checked, priced).
