New Hershey's Kisses

Periodically, some of my work friends bring me chocolate candy as a payback for always being able give them a "fix". This week, Christy brought some fudge Hershey's Kisses.

For the first time, in a long time, Hershey's let me down. These kisses are NOT good. There is none of the rich creaminess, that I expect from a Hershey's Kiss and the taste is rather bland. I'm grateful that Christy brought those in. If I had spotted them, I would have bought a bag and wasted the money.

Over the past couple of years, I have tried most of Hershey's new kisses and liked most of them. I am adding the fudge kisses to my "don't like" list. They are joining Hugs (don't like white "chocolate"), mint and carmel kisses. Rich Dark Chocolate, kisses with almonds and kisses with almonds and toffee chips will continue to find their way into my desk drawer and thence, to my work friends.

Well, they sound like they would taste delicious - but then again I guess you don't know untill you try them.

I am not a big chocolate fan myself but I do love the orginial Hershey's Kisses!

mmmmmmmm.....Chocolate Okay I like the stuff. Haven't tried these yet. Dark Choclate Okay I Dark Chocolate. Can't eat it at work thou cause it makes me bounce off the walls and drives the bossman crazy with my constant chatter

I bought the strawberry and cream one yesterday. They are white chocolate swirled with strawberry. I thought they would taste awesome. I was wrong, they were yucky! They tasted like fake strawberry ice cream. I like the natural flavored strawberry ice cream, but the artificial is just yucky!

I like the original, the hugs, and the caramel are not too bad.

I bought a bag of the carmel ones and brad ate the whole bag! LOL! I didnt' even get one! I guess he likes them! I personally like hersheys with almonds. those are my favorites...

YEA for DARK CHOCOLATE KISSES!

When I do eat chocolate I prefer the dark chocolate, but I am trying to avoid chocolate these days.

This is funny, I am eating chocolate when I clicked on this thread it's Hershey's Pot of Gold, it's good

Dark Chocolate is my weak!! yummy!

I love Hershey Kisses and usually have a cookie jar full of them for my moments of weakness. I have never heard of the fudge or strawberry. I guess I need to get out more.

I buy the assorted Hershey's Nuggets, to keep in my desk drawer: milk chocolate, dark choc w/almonds, milk choc w/almonds and milk chocw/almonds and toffee chips. Right now, I'm on a Butterfinger binge and have fun-size ones of those, too.

I tried those double fudge ones today- They were yucky too. I better stick with the regular kisses.

Debby, chocolate is GOOD for you as well as tasting good. I wouldn't avoid it, that's for sure. It has some of the same health benefits as tomatoes and those other veggies that are good for your heart, and guess what, dark chocolate is the best for you.

I by the way love chocolate in any form except for white chocolate.

I have a little bag of Mini Kisses in my desk right now!

Anyone tried SWOOPS yet? Yummy!!!

OMG! MA! I am scared to try them....are they pure chocolate, or is it like a chip, like crunchy?

chocolate potato chips! Yes, they have alot of flavors for those also. I snuck them on our camping trip, dont tell They aren't crunchy, just chocolate...

Debby, eat the chocolate. The theobromines in it stimulate the pleasure centers in your brain, causung a mild euphoria. Its a LEGAL high! .

Being a chocolholic is not a bad thing. Nobody ever robbed a liquor store, to buy chocolate. I can eat a six-pack of Hershey bars (figuratively speaking), get into my car, drive down the road and not get arrested or hurt anyone.

The Aztecs were right: chocolate is a gift from the gods!
