OMG, we just had the most amazing storm front move through here. I work not too far south of Lake Erie, and we often get some wild storms from the west or from across the lake. About 30 minutes ago, the sky to the west was absolutely black
and you could see the edge of the storm literally pass over the building. The clouds were so low that the were not much higher than our four story building. We got hail, thunder, lightning, possible tornadoes....and now it's just drizzling and thundering.

It's a good thing it's Friday, and a lot of people leave work early. I'd had to see what it would have done to the normal workday!

Interesting...
that sounds just like the storm front that went through SE Minnesota Wednesday night and it got pretty wild. We had a really intense thunderstorm with all the weather conditions your storm had. I thought this storm was stopping at least five different times, but it just kept starting up again. The meterologists described it as "very severe unstable weather conditions."

Yep, we are in Geauga county - it was light one minute, the next very dark and windy - we had lots of branches fall, and one tree in the front yard split, one dead tree in the back yard looks like it is tilting. I guess we will have to try to call a tree trimming place next week. We just moved in the house last Friday!!!

Looks like the neighbors across the street lost a tree too. Hate to see what it looks like down our heavily treed neighboorhood. We are also close to the park formally known as "6 flags" faired.

Sorry about the trees. I was surprised how little damage there was around here (I live in the Heights outside of Cleveland). A few branches but mostly leaves all over the place. Did you see the video of the storm coming in on the news? Very impressive. The clouds I saw was actually fog being pushed in front of the storm.

Are the other NE Ohio members OK? Amber the Bobcat?
