Oh what darlings they all are. Poor little Magoo though. When we found Petals, she had a bad infection, and almost lost the sight in one eye. But my wonderful vet was able to save it. I would love to take all the animals, but I especially would love to take in the injured ones. God love them.

Mortica's adventuresome
Mortica is my very lovable psycho cat.

How does little Magoo get around without his eyes?. I'd imagine like humans they get to know remember where things are?!
Cats have an easier time being blind then people because have stronger sense for hearing and smell. Cats also have a Jacobson Organ. It is on the top of they mouth and it is apart of they sense of smell. It is like they are tasting the air. Magoo figure out where he is and who is visiting by panting, smelling and listening. Magoo is my resident rascal.

Don't pity Magoo he is loved and has a good life. I saw the the before photo of Petals and she did remind me of Magoo. You did a great job with her. She looks great

Those babies are all so cute
I wondered the same thing as Susan about Magoo's eyes, I didn't realize cats could get around so well without their sight. Thanks for sharing the info about it

I am just glad he gets around as well as he does. Magoo is a real trooper. Pretty kitty too. Do the other cats pick on him?

My Miss Kitty is protective of our Cocker Spaniel Sam. We had a min-pin, mix for a breif time and she kept biteing Sam. So Miss Kitty went on the hunt to kill this dog so I caught on to what she was up to and gave the dog back to the owner. We told her what she was doing and did'nt want out cat to hurt her. Sam was recovering from a strained knee in his back leg so she took advantage of it and Miss Kitty wasn't going to tolerate it. I say good kitty..

He gets around great. I've had many people who have seen him get around ask if he could see little, maybe light and shadows.
He has no eyes, he can't see at all.

When I first got him at 9 wks he didn't know his way around so he would grab the rump of one of my other cats and follow. They would run to lose him but he could keep up. It was very funny to watch.

MiniPearl think Magoo is her baby.

Mortica has a tough time with any cats that are different. When Bubba first move in she wouldnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t let him go to the litter box. She was scared of Magoo and would swat him, he thought she was playing and liked it. She would start fights Sashay, who has nerve damage and falls every few steps, Sashay would just lie there belly up unable to defend herself. That was sad for me. They had to be separated when I left the house; this went on for a full year. They get along now.

The hero in Magoo story is a rescuer name Lisa. She is the one who trapped him. She is the one who fought with the Vets, that wanted him PTS, saying what kind of life would a blind cat have. She is one who fought with the other rescuers, that wanted him PTS, it would cost too much money. She the one that did fundraising for him. She the one that took care of him after surgery. All I did was adopt a really cool cat. Lisa is the hero here.

Feral Whisperer you are a very lovely person, trying to give all the credit to Lisa. She did a fabulous thing, but you have done none less. Your kitties are gorgeous. Bubbles has a very pretty face.
Three cheers for Magoo and Bubba can come and stay with me anytime.

Well... not to put too fine a point on it, you welcomed into your home and your life a kitty with challenges that others -- lots of others -- might have seen as insurmountable. Lisa did the ground work, to be sure, but he still needed a home, and that's where you came in. Good on ya!
