a few times in previous posts i have heard that if your kitten poops or wees on your personal belongings, it means that your kitten is not well

socks has always used his litter tray since day 1, i trained him myself, i never had any problems, but this morning i walked into my bedroom and socks had poopd and weed on my bf new shirt, do you think this a sign that he maybe not well? i didnt know wheather to take him to the vet? or am i just overreacting

Is the litter box clean?
Changed to a different type of litter?
Have you moved the box recently?
When Dori was a little kitten she had a couple "accidents". She used the litter box fine for 2 weeks then started going in another corner of my room for some reason. When I noticed her smelling around in the place she wasn't supposed to go and would pick her up and put her in front of her box. That didn't work much so I finally moved the box to the new place and she used it fine. A couple of months later, she must have been 5 or 6 months old, she started peeing on the clothes in our dirty clothes basket regularly. When I got her spayed that stopped and we have had no problems since.
As far as going to the vet, someone with much more knowledge than I will be able to answer you. I would say though (since you know your baby best) that if you feel like something could be wrong then it might be best to have Socks checked out, just to be on the safe side. It will put your mind at ease.

I know exactly how you feel. I think I get a little paranoid when it comes to Dori to. Any weird sound she makes I get worried she is sick. My BF used to think I was crazy, until a couple months ago he came to me worried because Dori was breathing funny.
And the other night when I thought Dori was missing he joined in on the hunt, on his own, I didn't even have to ask.

*Usually* when the pee on personal items, they are stressed out. The combination of their urine scent on your scent calms them down. Any major changes lately? Or minor ones as well? But a vet visit for litter box accidents is always a wise call-

I would still check back when someone else reads it and offers suggestions. I am in no way an expert. I actually just asked those questions because I always see them as a response when someone asks about that stuff

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Advice people have gave me on the site has always been confirmed as correct by either my vet or my friend who is a vet nurse.

But at least you will no for sure by speaking to the vet. I don't know about yours, but if ever i've rang the surgery and the vets with a client, mine has always rang me back.

Let us know what happens
