Thanks. I won't be getting my own place for probably a year or so but I have already started thinking about it. I like peoples personal cat sites where they keep a journal of what their cats do every day and stuff like that. Actually anybodys cat site will do.
The reason I want to get 9-12 months old is bc I've heard they're more mature by that time.

Blondiecat where in Georgia are you? If you dont mind that is. I live in Alabama but I'm right on the border. West Point Georgia is about 5 minutes from my house. Live about 1 hour from Columbus.
Cilla yeah i'm looking forward to it. Where I live right now I have 4 outdoor cats.
Dawn yeah it seems like I have come to the right place.
Valan yeah I've already had a while to do research. I didn't start becoming interested in inside cats until about a year ago. So after I get my own place in a year or so that will be over 2 years of research.
