You asked ...

Hi ... my name's David, I live in Sydney and thought I'd introduce myself. Two very important females in my life died in the past 12 months, most recently my mother and before that my (equally adorable) siamese cat, whose name (aptly) was schitzy (or Miss Bits).

I've not had the heart to replace her (the cat that is) yet. But ALL my friends (except one) love and own cats so I get to ingratiate myself with their felines on a regular basis.

I am working on one of my real cat, Midori. She is 1 and 1/2 yrs old. I can't wait to show her off.

There's just something delightful about cat lovers, and you lot have prooven that the warm, fuzzy side of our feline companions infuse our souls. Thanks to you all for the lovely messages and inspirational pictures. I need to visit my best friend's cats Tia and Lucy VERY soon for some TLC, obviously.
