There was a scramble to find vets at the last minute..plus we had a really bad thunder storm which made trapping a bit harder than normal....so 49 cats was a very good number!! Most of the females were lactating and so I asked the question...is it ok to fix a lactating cat?? Will it dry up her milk?? The answer...Yes...you can fix a lactating cat...and as long as her kittens need the milk, she will continue to produce it. I post this here in case anyone (either a member or someone who is surfing) has that concern. There was a GORGEOUS orange and white medium haired tabby who reminded me a lot of my own Tigger...but then again...I have yet to find one feral cat that I thought was ugly. After washing my clothes and taking a long bath...I gave each of my cats a BIG HUG.
