well its vacation time as of tomorrow and cant wait, leaving early in the morning and looking forward to things such as strolls on the beach, swimming and resting - well I was until last night!
I had a couple of pints last night and was light headed when went to bed. On way up stairs I stubbed a toe on the stairs - said a few things like - "oh golly that hurts a lot" and hopped around a bit.
Had a rough night in pain and woke a lot with it throbbing. One look at it this morning and its black in color. I have broken the blasted thing! No wonder it hurts, i have done this before so know what it feels like and looks like.
So much for strolls, swimming, jogging and a restful vacation!!
What a muppett...

Awww!!!

Get well soon...and don't let it slow you down any more than absolutely necessary.

Hang in there Kev, and make the best of what you've got.

Kev . . . that, sadly is called sod's law. Hubbs got stung in the foot by some exotic puffy thing with spines (guys, help me out here . . .) a few years back when we were in the caribbean, and spent the whole 2 weeks with a black, swollen foot unable to walk

I hope you still manage to have a good time . . . I can just see you in one of those old-fashioned bath chairs holding a cane and being pushed around by Carol; all the time barking orders on where you want to go next!!!

Try and have fun anyways.

Kev, just relax in your own way, enjoy yourself and have a few more pinks once you get there, but watch where you walk.

Yola - you are cruel.....and I feel for your hubby - we have a fish in the UK called a weaver fish - its spines are poisonous, have caught a few whilst beach casting for cod. You have to be careful.
Now I need to go and find my old fashioned bath chair and find my pipe and slippers! I love your sense of humor..

Take care
