That is the best way I can describe it.
His back legs arent right.
He has a flat wide chest and he runs like a baby turtle headed for the sea after hatching out of his shell.
Otherwise he is quite healthy. He is small but he eats good and runs and plays with the others, he just runs funny.
Does anyone know what this could be?
I am very frightened as I am very attached to him.
It is very possible that his mother and father are brother and sister.
Could this be an inbreeding problem?
I am taking him to the vet next week. Please be thinking of this little guy. Any prayers or positive thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Love and Life,
Nan

I saw something similiar to what you described on the NY animal police show on the Animal Planet channel. They found a puppy in a basement and the puppy scooted around looking like a turtle too (all 4 legs were like that, he couldn't stand at all but he sure tried to get around). I don't remember if the ASPCA gave him meds, but he got physical therapy everyday and after a time he was just fine, looked and ran like any other puppy. IIRC, he was born with it.

Hope this is what Lindsay has. Sending prayers and positive thoughts his way. I know I would worry too, but try not to. It may just be something minor, and at least everything else is okay with him. He sounds like he's doing pretty well otherwise?

Would you let us know what your vet thinks after the visit?

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Nan im no expert, but it could be something to do with him being little?!.

My Sophie is only 9 weeks old, and compared to Rosie she's still a little wobbly.

When you have a good look at her such as if she's sitting, she can turn her head around but sometimes her whole body will give a slight wobble, Rosie was like this as well as a kitten.

She's been checked over by the vet when i got her and was given a clean bill of health.

Just think how babies are to toddlers?!.

Hope everything is ok though at the vets, and please let us know

Thanks for your replies.
Thank you,Helen, for the link.
Yep that is what he looks like. That might be it. We will have to wait and see what the vet says.
He is doing good like his brothers and sister two of his siblings are larger and getting about better than he is. His other brother is very small. Arnold is the one in the pic with him. He is the little red tiger. The sleeping one is Katie, his only sister. She is a big one too and running all over. Lindsay is able to keep up with them but he just looks a little comical doing it.
Thanks again and I will keep you posted as to how he is doing.
Love and Life,
Nan
Oops, I guess I cant add a picture in a reply. I will make a new thread and put his picture there. Sorry....

Wow!

Little Lindsay is going to be six weeks old soon and his flat chest is getting some better. He actually feels more round now when I pick him up.
I am so glad as he is a real cutie. I sure do love him and his brothers and sister.

Sounds like my little runt... She's about 8 weeks old now, and still wobbles.. The other kittens of the same age are much more advanced then my little runt. She's starting to climb a little now, and getting a little bigger. We wondered if maybe the legs are not developed, but my BF who went to school to be a Vet tech (never finished thou) said that it's prob because my little one is very behind..
