either way, I am the proud mother of 3 cats, Methusilah (aka Mussy), Red, and Lucifer. 2 years ago I got my first apartment and my first cat (on my own) 6 months later I got engaged and got Mussy a friend (Red) then we decided 2 wasnt enough and found Lucifer- a cat true to his name that had been "returned" to the spca two times before.
In between these 3 we had an older cat by the name of Sarah, who we took after her owner needed to move and no one wanted an older cat. Sarah was non-adjustable (as most older cats are) and prefered solitude to our rascally bunch for over a year, in which she went back to live in peace with her orginal owner. (Whom we had been in contact with since the orginal adoption)
hence leaves me here, searching around the internet for more ways to help my feline friends when my husband calls me explaining a stray mother cat had just gotten run over, and her 3 week old kittens needed homes NOW. After luckily finding two of them homes and with 2 of them set to go to the spca, we had to save one of them (although if we had only 2 other cats I would have taken both kittens in)
So I am about to become a mother. Again. Happy mothers day to me!
