So far out in left field I got lost
from my daughter
I guess I should be used to it by now but it still hurts that she has more important things to do than come and see me
Of course the day isn't over until midnight but I'm betting that I want see her by then either. This is 2 years in a row that this has happened, that is why I am saying I should be used to it. Okay I am going to quite feeling sorry for myself now

Well at least she just called to tell me she wasn't coming over today
It was nice to hear from her, but I am still disappointed that she hasn't come to see me

If you know she loves you, just take comfort in that thought. Maybe you two can have your own "Mother's Day" when she's not so busy, if holidays are so important to you ^^

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Awwwww Cathi. My ex boyfriends kids used to be the same when it was fathers day. And it used to hurt him too.

They were only 13 and 15 years old, but old enough to know better when it comes to that special day.

It used to end up with me taking them both into town shopping and reminding them 2 weeks before 'why' we were going.

Sending you hugs and headbutts from myself and the kitts.

Ok, I feel really bad now. I wasn't feeling very good yesterday, and didn't go see mom. I gave her a gift last weekend and called her to chat for a while yesterday and wish her a happy mom's day, but didn't actually go out and visit her. Now I feel really bad after reading Cathi's post. I love my mom, but guess I didn't think, since I see her all the time, that it was a big deal. I did have an awful headache, but I should have gone anyway

Cathi! I am glad she atleast called you...with what you have said about your daughter she is not wanting to focus what is more important in her life right now...which should be you and the rest of her family! I hope you had a great Mother's Day anyway and your hubby atleast helped you have one...I know those puppies and your kitties love you with their whole heart! Happy Mother's Day to you! Cheers! You're a wonderful mother!!

Cathi.Did you tell her that you were really looking forward to seeing her when she called? I hope she comes out and sees you soon it sounds like you're really suffering. No offence intended of course. Big hugs to you.
