I am six months pregnant and ever since we found out that I was pregnany our female cat has started peeing on things. She has peed on my comforter 4 times (3 times on my side even after switching sides with my husband) and one in the middle. I took her to the vet and he thought she might have another urinary tract infection (she has had many before). We gave her all her medication and she is STILL peeing on things. I asked the vet if she was doing this because she knew I was pregnant but he said "no". But I am really starting to wonder because she has NEVER acted like this before. I am afraid that when the baby comes along she will get in his bed and pee too. Has anyone had this happen? or am I just crazy and she just don't like me anymore?

Sounds more like she is has been so ill with a urinary tract infection that she has litter pan aversion. I would toss out all the litter pans that she remembers and buy two brand new ones, and maybe even some cat attract cat litter. Also wash your covers out well with an enzyme cleaner like Nok-Out to get rid of the urine odor completely. She could have re-occuring UTI so increasing her water intake would be a plus as well

I know that she has had UTI a few times before........she was tested and it was all cleared up. Water is changed daily. UGH!!! I am so upset and lost. Thank you

some where between here and there....
cats can sense change in their environment and some dont adapt as well as we would like them to its not uncommon for them to go where they shouldnt to try to tell you they know and dont understand the change my little girl was like that and still is when any thing changes from the normal routine she did all that when we moved from a place we were in for 5 years to a bigger house she peed on clothes and poop right in the middle of the floor of the new house she has adjusted back to normal until something else comes up can be very frustrating

Have you tried Feliway? Both the spray, and the diffuser.

the only change has been, well right now, is that I am pregnant. Yesterday she was very lovey towards me which she hasn't done in a long time since we found out I was pregnant. So maybe she is getting use to the "unborn baby". Unfort, we are moving at the end of the month.......I am sure we will have to go thru this again then. But I am going to stick with it. Love her way to much!....Thanks

www.feliway.com has a complete explanation about what it is & how/why it works.

It really helped my peeing-on-the-bed kitty (hers turned out to be anxiety-related).

cats are supposed to be able to sense things, so she probably does know that youre pregnant
