Usually, Ivo is not a gassy cat. Whenever she is gassy, it's usually when we are cuddling and her backside is in my face.

This morning, she decided to sleep between my left arm and body, with her backside tucked up in my armpit. I rolled over a little to be able to pet her-wrong move! She must have been so relaxed she farted and I got a faceful of nasty smell. She was being too cute, howver, to yell at her.

Does anyone else have gassy cats?

Because i used to laugh at things like this(and still do!), my husband used to say i had whats known as 'toilet humour'!.

When Sophie had an upset tummy last week, i must admit she did whiff a bit now and agin
, but she's ok now.

OMG! Ophelia did almost the same thing last night to Earl!

Earl was scritching her and she was prancing all over me (she likes to walk all over me
). She curled up in the crook of my knee, and he kept scritching....well, she apparently got a bit overstimulated and passed a little gas.

Movin' on up!
Rowdy is absolutelty ROTTEN! She will lay on the table, butt pointed at Bill and envelope him in a stifling miasma.

Ike and Pearl are just as bad. THEY can make my eyes water.

I am quite happy to hear that my cats aren't the only stinky ones!

Of course there is always the hubby's quote: "The cat did it, I didn't do it!"

Sam only does that if I cradle him like a baby and then he will let one that peels paint off the walls. I try to move to another location but it follows him. Then all the sudden he will get a whiff, give me an accusing look and run off.

My kitties don't have this problem either (yet), but the last dog I had did and then he would look at the cat as if to say "It was him Mom".

I just sprayed Pepsi all over my computer! I'm still laughing
I have some gassy boys myself and I can relate to this.
