Hello everyone I am new to this site, but I am glad that I found it. I hope someone can answer my question regarding my mother cat Snickers and her 4 month old daughter, Tigger. Lately Snickers and Tigger fight every night. Sometimes I think it is just play fighting, but then I hear growling and see biting and Snickers seems to be having quite a few scrapes on her. I was wondering should I break it up as soon as they start in or should I let them fight it out. Also, Snickers had another baby just a couple of weeks ago, so I am thinking the new brother for Tigger might have something to do with it. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

3babies,

I think that Tigger is jealous. You need to separate Snickers and her baby into one room and keep everyone else out. Siblings have been known to kill new litters. I would keep them separated for a while and then gradually introduce them.
