For those of you who have enjoyed my short and true tales here about Pounce, we have a special treat waiting now on our website.

A couple of months ago, I put the finishing touches on The Meaning Of "CAT" - a work of Fiction in the "Short Story" format.

It runs 19 pages (or around 6,000 words, I believe) when printed out from Microsoft Word - thus a bit large for dialing in here as a regular post. It also turned out to be about dead-on the maximum limit for putting up on our own site, though I have FINALLY managed to do so.

So, we invite those who can take the time, to come on over to our site - http://home.bellsouth.net/p/PWP-Clemmie - and click the link on the Homepage for My Fiction Writing - "CAT".

It features a Trucker and his Cat (namely, me and Pounce), and incorporates some true events from our time together. But, we also have a close encounter with Aliens - which turns out to be closer to home than you might imagine. And, after this tale, you'll never view Plastic Bags in quite the same way again......

Does that leave you wondering "What the ......?" GOOD - It should.

Now, go read my story. Let it sink in good. Then, I would greatly appreciate your feedback on it. You can reply here, or e-mail me direct. Thank you.

Don't blame you a bit. I think it looks better "in print".

That thought has crossed my mind, and eventually I just might. It is, however, a quite time-consuming process - so please don't hold your breath while waiting.
