New babies!

Hi everyone!
I just got 2 kittens from my friend. They are really cute. One is white with blue eyes<as far as I can tell she's not deaf>.I named her Bianca. The other one is Callie, and she's tiger striped/calico. They like to sleep during the day and play at night. I couldn't sleep last night because they were playing so much. hehe.

Callie has a pink collar, and Bianca has a lavender collar.

I don't have any pictures just yet but I will be getting some up soon.

Oh yeah, I also have a dog named Maggie who is a German Shepherd/mutt.

Just thought I'd introduce the fam!

Thea!! Welcome to The Cat Site!! So glad to see you here (you posted about your new kittens over at Petfinder right??) Kittens can certainly be a handful but let me say this...they will be such a joy to have around...I know...I have 2 cats that I got when they were 8 weeks of age. Let us know if there are any further questions you have..you will absolutely LOVE this site.

I know I will have questions. I have owned cats before but never had them since they were kittens<which is great because I can train them to be good kitties> hehe.

I enjoy them. They sleep a lot, and lounge around. They aren't mischief makers and so far they haven't ripped anything up yet. lol. I'm sure that's coming though.

Only problem right now is I can't get them to go poop in their litter box. They'll pee in it, but won't poop. I found some poop in their bed!! Agh!!
HELP!!

If you find poop again some where in the house , try placing the poop in their litter box and leave it in there . Sometimes it will help the cats . Also you may want to get a extra litter box for them , some cats don't like to use the same box for pooping and peeing .

Oh, you might try a second litter box. Cats prefer to pee in one, and poop in the other. Amazing, isn't it! I got a second cat (over a year ago), and a second litter box, thinking that they would each use one, and found that they used one for pee, one for poo.

Welcome to TCS and congrats on the new additions to your family. Kittens are so much fun...annoying sometimes but fun.

I agree with the others, try a second litter box, it worked for me with my two guys.
