Well I caved in and let my mom take Em to the groomers. I don't know what they did with Emmett but this is the cat I got back from them.

I actually kind of like it. The tip of his tail cracks me up.

I'm not too fond of the style personally, and I think he looked much more like a proper cat in the pics in your sig.

However, you had to try it, and it's defintely different....but honestly, he's made to have hair...I say let his hair grow...

All kidding aside, do you plan to keep this style...or are you going to let his hair grow back to it's previous luster?

I don't wanna sound mean, but PLEASE don't turn your pretty cat into a POODLE again. I agree with Spotz that cats are meant to have hair. Good thing hair grows back.

Just a slight correction/clarification here...

I want to acknowledge that I am familiar that there are hairless breeds of cats, and that if I wanted a cat with little or no hair, I would reccomend these breeds.

I also want to say that there are times and places where Lion Cuts are appropriate, and that I have seen a few cats absolutely seem to enjoy the hair being so short. How is Emmett reacting to this hair cut?

I think emmett looks strange with this style, and I personally think that he looked better as...well...as Emmett...again, not being mean or anything, just MO.

The funny thing is he seems happier with the haircut. I know its strange him being a shorthaired cat already, but he's calmer. Maybe he was a hairless cat in a pastlife????

I seriously do not intend for anyone to be offended by my opinion.

I would like to clarify that I have nothing against hairless breeds of cats. It's just my opinion that if a cat was born with hair why shave it off because the human thinks it is the stylish thing to do. Now, if the hair was shaven because he had a health problem I would see the appropriateness of that type of haircut.

My cat Razpy would like Emmett to know that he should join DaFURR..Razpy's militant cat organization where cats complain about things like this..

DaFURR

The pages of shame show many similar photos of bad meowmie behaviour lol

Aww, he still looks cute. That tail is too funny. I thought lion cuts were only done on long-haired cats, guess I was wrong.
