I've noticed that when Simon wants to be in the bed with me, but not necessarily get petted, he will sit just out of reach. The funny thing is, the tip of his tail is always touching me, even if it is just the last little tail hairs that reach.

I assume he is doing this on purpose. Is his tail that sensitive that he can feel me there even with just the tiniest bit of his tail fur touching?

Amazing creatures.

I have never done any reading on just how sensitive their tails are, but I do know that they can feel things even if the hair is just touching or brushing on something. My guessis that he is content just knowing you are right there
