I of course have a sense of humor...which is how I knew you were joking.
I'm surrounded by enough idiots here in my town! I'm glad that there aren't any on here!
I don't have any prejudices, nor would I do harm to someone just because they are an uneducated redneck hillbilly...I just feel sorry for them. However, it saddens me that there are so many people out there who think that it is ok to be uneducated. These are the hillbilly rednecks I was talking about. If I had been talking about anyone on here I would have said that person's name and then said "you are an uneducated redneck hillbilly".
My favorite cousin is a redneck. I love her to death, but I feel sorry for her. She's been taught all of her life that people who get an education are "snobs" who "don't know how to do hard work". It is the same with basically everyone who lives in my town. We have a very high rate of teen pregnancy (there are even girls here who are mothers of 2 by the time they are 15), high rates of high school drop outs, and very low rates of people who go on to college. I even had one person come up to me and say; "I don't want my child to go to college, because she may learn things that will turn her into a snob." I thought parents wanted better for their children?
Or, even worse, the girl I met who's mom made her drop out of high school because she wants her to "start concentrating on becoming a mommy"...this girl is 15 years old! And if she keeps going this route, she is going to end up just like her mom...living in a trailer with 8 kids, on welfare. And her mom is the same way; "no college for my kids. I don't want them learning that stuff."
It just saddens me beyond words, because I've seen what can happen when a person is uneducated. But of course, there are worse types of rednecks...like the ones who join the KKK!
BTW...with the exception of Anti-Semitic remarks, nothing insults me. I was simply making a point. Also, I love biology...so anytime I can share my advanced knowledge of it I do.
I apologize if anyone misunderstood my remarks or if I misunderstood theirs. Or, as my brother and I used to say when we were little and get done fighting; "I'm sorry if you're sorry!"
