Tonight Softie has been meowing like crazy! She wants to be near me or anyone else that will pay attention to her, and won't even let us leave her, she just follows. It also feels like she may "almost" have milk. She doesn't have any coming from her nipples yet, but she feels more full, below the babies, but underneath her skin. Could tonight be THE night?!

I had a female before pregnant and she did act like that . Maybe this is the night
. I guess she really wants you to be there with her . Maybe you want to stay close by . Have you made some kind of nest for her to go in ,to have the baby's there ?

When my Siamese was ready to have her babies, she started meowing like mad! She wanted me to be right beside her wherever she went and showed me her nesting box. Mimi didn't have milk coming from her nipples, so I thought she wasn't ready to have the babies. She lost her mucus plug which was a surefire sign she was ready. Mimi was in the first stage of labor for almost 10 hours, then all of the sudden she started having contractions! Pop! There was a precious black kitten! Mimi had 4 kittens, but sadly, on passed away.

It sounds like your kitty is in the first stage of labor. Is she showing any nesting signs? Such as digging at blankets, newspaper etc.? My friend has a Siamese who had her babies breech. I delivered both of them, although she probably could've done it on her own. Good luck with her labor, and please keep us updated!

"Tonight Softie has been meowing like crazy!"

Check

"She wants to be near me or anyone else that will pay attention to her, and won't even let us leave her, she just follows. "

Check

"It also feels like she may "almost" have milk. She doesn't have any coming from her nipples yet, but she feels more full, below the babies, but underneath her skin. "

Definitely a Check

"Could tonight be THE night?!"

It sure sounds like it will be soon. If you add "nesting" to what you've seen...VERY soon.
Good luck and we hope everything goes smoothly. Give her a scratch and a scritch from us.

She is going in the box I made her now... And she was never interested in it before. She also went to the bathroom once, and I've read that trying to or going to the bathroom during labour is common when cats feel pressure. Apparently they think they have to go to the bathroom, because they aren't always sure whats going on... She also was digging a lot in the dirt when she went...More than usual. She has been licking her rear end a lot too, well trying at least, she can't quite get around that belly!
She is biting at her belly too and pawing at it, as well as grooming herself a lot... I think this is it!! Can't wait to see those little ones!
