Cause i cant and am still in a utter state of shock.
You recall a few months ago, I was nominated for and received an award through work. Then I was invited to the Celtic Manor in Wales for a weekend all expenses paid as the part of the celebration and thanks for what I had done. Well - it was all done and dusted and i have gotten on with life and work. there are a few people being put forward for the chief executive awards and I thought this was for the winners that evening.
I got home this evening to open my mail - inside the envelope was an invitation to the chief executives awards for myself and a guest. I figure that I had better take carol and so far - she is so far in the air and walking on air that i cant get her down.
The awards take place on 11 - 13 June 2003.
I have only just announced it to Carol that the chief exec awards are actually being held at the private collection of antique cars of His royal highness, Prince Rainier III and we are going for an all expenses weekend paid - inc food , excursions, flights, transport etc To Monaco and monte carlo!
I am having a beer to settle my head, carol is on her 3rd jack Daniels and i was just bursting to tell you all!
Can you believe it? Me neither!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to wear that blooming monkey suit again ... I looked daft in that and now again.. arghhhhhhh
