Going Outside The Litter Box

I just caught Clyde using the closet where the litter box was about 6 months ago. I just changed the litter 2 days ago, and it isn't ready to change yet. Any reasons of why he may have done this??

Please take your cat to the vet to rule out health problems first. If not a health issue it could be a litter box issue, the box isn't being scooped out enough, add another box, you switched litter or he is stressed. But first and foremost take the cat to the vet to find out if he is healthy.
