This update comes from the daily newspaper of the city I live in. My question is: What happened to the cat? They don't tell you this kind of stuff, they just kind of leave you hanging...

Police Beat
The Daily Herald on Friday, August 31

OUTAGE -- A cat crawled into a sensitive area of the main Springville electrical substation, knocking power out to the entire city around 11 a.m. Thursday, a power company representative said.

Power was restored to part of the city at around 11:20 a. m., and to the entire city by noon.

I agree. It's as if they think no one wants to know. The poor cat was probably electricuted. . . . But that doesn't matter as long as the power was back on in time for everyone to see their Soap Operas!

OK a power cut is important but still there are many people (like us) who want to know what happened to the poor soul. They really need to publish such things. You remember the Taiwan earthquake and the cat who managed to survive for something like two weeks without any food or drink?? Brave little soul she was and her picture was in all newspapers. Cats are natural survivors. Here's a pic of the Taiwan cat, when I saw it first I creid... Sorry to interfere with the thread but I just remembered the story and felt like sharing it

Vlinder, I do believe in emailing them you "might" get a response. If you're lucky. I have tried in various cases and came up empty handed...and in one response that I did receive was very nasty, telling me they didn't have time to look back into records for such cases...now, I did send another email after that trust me and it wasn't an American Greeting.

Thanks for posting that Billie, that was amazing!
