Cats and Chocolate

I was wondering if there was a problem with cats having chocolate. Diddo tried to steal some of mine the other night and I was tempted to give her some, (she is soooooo spoiled) but I wanted to check with people first.

Please DO NOT give your cat chocolate anything. There is a chemical in the chocolate that is a strong attractant to cats and dogs, and they will literally jump through hoops to get some- but it can be very toxic to these animals and it even will kill them if it is the wrong kind for them to have.

I have heard of chocolate poisoning cats, very real threat.

Oh guys thank you. I know I spoil my babies rotten, but the last thing on earth I want or need is to have my babies hurt through my stupidity. Thank you again.

My friends dog ate chocolates that she had left lying around. She's lucky she still has him because he was violently sick with them!.

Give your kitty cat treats made specialy for them only!
