The photo has to be 100 pixels by 100 pixels any larger it won't accept it. Although mine is under that and it says it is to large so perhaps there is still a glitch?

It's up to 100 by 100 AND up to 97KB. Both limits apply

Deb, the tag problems, are you having them when you use the quick reply or the regular reply functions (post reply & quote and reply). With the latter two, you should get the WYSIWYG editor (if you have it turned on in your options). With that you shouldn't see any tags whatsoever, you just use it the same way you use MS Word. And you can choose the smilies from a drop-down menu and see them right there in the editor. Very convenient!

When I was reading my profile, I noticed it said "WellingtonCats is not a member of any groups" or something under Group Membership..

Deb, when I click on Bold Italics or underlined the box thing still comes up.

Wooohoo I have green eyes back and a profile picture
Thanks!

Also,I like when you edit a post you can give a reason.

I don't know if this is a problem with the new layout, but I haven't had it happen before. I was trying to Quote a post and in the post was a URL, and when I tried to write my reply underneath the whole quote, the bit I was trying to reply to, would become a link to the URL, it was mighty stressfull.

Hi All,

It caught me a bit off guard! I'd stored a cookie for the site, and when it didn't "know" me, I got worried, what with all the spam and icky stuff that goes on these days online!! Glad to see it's just changes in format and all. Looks nice, so far, though I am not sure if I'm oriented yet, or not. If I see anything I feel moved to comment on specifically, I'll pop in and post again!

Thanks, TCS team, for the hard work involved in updating and maintaining order for us all!!

Search function seems to be working fine for me. What word/s did you search for that got you the "no matches" message?

As for the public groups - I have yet to figure it out myself. This is one of the new features available, along with the ranks system, reputation system and other goodies (not opeational yet). I think that public groups means something like clans - where you can divide the community into different groups, each with its own set of ranks. For example in a football board, you would have members who belong to specific groups, according to their favorite group in real life if you see what I mean. I don't think this is relevant here really.

I noticed that when I tried to find the old thread about the Apprentice even though I told it search fully and check old and new threads, the only one it brought up was Kass's new one about nakita, and not the one I was looking for- so I started a new thread.

I am going to try and locate my April Contest thread now, lets see if I am successful or not

Your'e not being a nusiance Sam - this is really helping me sort things out on my end

I got 3 search results for the word Apprentice.

Chchchanges doesn't bring up anything because this thread is called Chchchchanges

As for Kiwideus - if you're looking for posts by her you need to use the advanced search function and look for posts made by her. That should work.

Search in child forums means that if you search for example in the lounge and include child forums, it will also search "fur pictures". If you don't include child forums it'll ignore "fur pictures" and only search the lounge.

So I've just discovered. Miss Silver and shades, but VB3 is fine. As long as I have something in basically muted blue tones, I'm ecstatic.

I still have a LOT of exploring to do, but I'm really looking forward to it. First indications are that the changes are EXCELLENT! Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!

Ahhh gotcha now. Yip but the thread I was looking for didn't come up(just like hissy said), never mind. One more thing each time I go onto a new site and then come back to TCS, it's swtiched back onto default, for the color.. not really a major thing.

Thanks again!

Sam, there is an option to change it in your Control Panel. I think that's probably where you need to change it to keep the color style.
