Well, after 16-17 cats, I thought I was done. Not so.

I've seen a few "mystery" cats lately...either a tiger stripe, a tortie, or both. I got a pretty good look at this one, but the picture sucked. This one is a dark tortie. Are torties usually male or female?

Here's an [unrelated] house cat we caught the other night. I'm not sure who it belongs to, but it had a flea collar.

Scott....love the "mystery" cat picture. See, even housecats want in on the fun.

Ack, well, she was very kitten-ish (maybe a year old?). I've been trying to avoid catching cats that might have already had kittens hidden somewhere...she didn't look pregnant...

I guess that means that I just catch her, regardless...

oh my! I think you caught my cat's relative! I have a feral grey torti, and she's female! I can't believe the resemblance!

That's funny...there is a resemblance.

We have another tortie that is a housecat that is let out into our courtyard every day, named Riley. Looks similar as well. She rules the courtyard for 3 hours, then goes back inside.

I have a female cat named Riley, too. It's the last feral we took in. She was a real mess when we found her, but she's getting fat now, and enjoys life. She's a main coon and was declawed. I can't believe she was outside left to fend for herself without claws...she's missing 2 front teeth. We think she lost them in a fight? She's a real clown, and a loving cat.
