We Celebrated Spike's 4th Birthday Today!

Today was Spike's 4th birthday... I can't believe it... he would be going to preschool if he wasn't a furbaby.

Anyway, some birthday pictures I thought I'd share...

The first is from this morning, where he was none too happy to be bothered for pictures, and the second is from birthday "dinner", which consisted of a couple teaspoons of tuna water. Doesn't he look awfully grumpy for a kitty celebrating a birthday?

He's grown into such a handsome kitty. They grow up so fast, don't they?? My two turned 4 this past July/August.

Awww, thanks Heidi. (I, of course, think he's incredibly handsome, but we all know how biased I can be. )

And they do grow up fast... I just can't believe how fast the past four years have gone by. I don't even remember life without Spike - not that I would want it that way.

I didn't realize Ophelia and Trent are the same age as Spike. If we lived closer they could go to the same preschool class.

You know, looking again at that first picture again....he may look grumpy to you, but to me he looks like he has a big ol' Cheshire Grin. Like, "It's MY Day today, Mommy is going to spoil me even more today!"

I always love seeing pictures of your gorgeous Spike baby! You aren't just biased...he really is!

I know what you mean, exactly. I can't remember what I did before Trent and Ophelia came into my life.

Princess had a brother named Spike. We named him Spike because he tried to be such a tough guy and his little fur on the top of his head used to stick straight up when he would play and roll around. The family that adopted him renamed him, though.
