I got the "okay" to screen in my patio!

I'm shocked.... I actually got my hoidy-toidy fancy apartment complex to agree to let me screen in my patio!!!! I had to tell a little white lie to get them to agree, but it wont hurt anyone. The real reason I want to do it is so the cats can sit out there... but I told them it was because I was allergic to bees (not true) and that the beautiful flowered tree right behind our patio has about two dozen on it at all times (true). Anyway, they agreed! So I'm back to home depot this weekend!

That's great, the home depot near us sells cat proof screen, but you have to ask for it. It is thicker mesh that doesn't rip when clawed.

Oh! Good tip - I didn't even think of that, the ripping that is. I will ask! THANKS!

Why thank you! I'm the QUEEN of DIY'ing! I can't wait to buy a house so I can fix everything up and paint everything in sight... there wont be a single white wall to be found! ...and if the kitties are REAL lucky, they might even get their own cat heaven ROOM!
