We tried very hard to tame these beauties but they did not want to be tamed. We found a nice young couple with a barn and several outbuildings that WANTED more cats. So we have managed to trap two of the kittens and a rogue male! Momma cat is way too smart for the live trap and the lovely gray was in the trap and managed to escape and we have not seen him since. We still have hopes of catching Momma cat as she is such a good momma and would love living on that farm. She sniffs the live trap and walks away. The distrust in her walk says it all.

I am so sorry to hear that . But at least they will have a new home who cares for them . Some ferals are just like that and you cant change that . Don't get discouraged , you did the right thing .Bless you for saving them

When I trapped Blackie, my super smart feral, I had to put hay bales around the trap and sprinkle hay lightly on the top. I had tried for days to trap her and she was just too smart.

I don't know if you have any bushes around that you could set up the trap near. Also if you sprinkle leaves and grass over the top. This may help. Good luck, some are harder than others.

Your a wonderful person for doing as much as you have already!!
