I trapped Lilly two nights ago. She was spayed, tattoed and vaccinated. I had to release her since my boys didn't like her. Peppurr and Zeus hissed and ran so fast to get away from the trap! Lilly was meowing all night, probably in pain from the surgery. They used dissolvable stiches for her. Lilly was released about an hour ago. Here are some pictures of Lilly, she looks so sweet and innocent!

Lilly looks like such a sweet little girl! Sorry she and your boys didn't get along. I'm glad the trapping is going so well for you! Thanks for continuing to post pictures of your ferals!

Oh....
What beautiful cats! I LOVE the expression Mr. Boots has in your photos! Those are really nice boys! I could see either one of them as wonderful cats after being socialized!
They remind me of my Mr. Hitter. I tried for 3 years to get close enough to him to even watch him eat. Now he sleeps in bed with me. Mr. Hitter is a very big older boy.

Boots was a sweety! He was the calmest feral I have ever seen. I am almost beginning to think that he is just somebodies cat who doesn't look after him. He let me pet him and sit right beside him. Now he is neutered and vaccinated, he will be MUCH happier!

It has been raining for the last week, so the ferals haven't been coming around.
It is supposed to be nice tonight, so send me some feral trapping vibes!

I trapped three kittens! One is a brown classic tabby female, one is a grey tabby female and one is a tuxedo male. They don't have blue eyes anymore and they're eating solids. I couldn't trap the momma tonight, but I will try again tomorrow. Pics are on there way...

I don't have a special thread of my own for this, but feel like you won't mind me sharing yours for a moment, Crazy-Cat-Lover. I thought you guys would share my joy in knowing two of my ferals were neutered and vaccinated this week, Gray and Little Gray!
Thanks to a successful yardsale fundraiser the group I work with Island Cat Allies, we were able to TNV 5 cats from 2 different colonies!
We are now striving to pay for the surgury of a sweet kitty that was brought to us with an ear infection that had progressed so far into his brain to cause neurological damage. It would have cost over $1000 but the vet we work with offered to do it at a mere $700. This was a contraversial decision in the group since many argued we have too many newborns and kittens being dropped off and too many cats to TNR at this important time of year to put so much money into one kitty, but all of us who had met and cared for Tipper couldn't bare the thought of watching him die from this correctable condition.
Just wanted to share this with all of you since I know you guys will be emotionally supportive. Thanks again, Crazy-Cat-Lover for sharing space with me in your extremely important thread as I remain excited with you about all the kitties you're helping!

dawnofsierra...that's wonderful that you have fixed 5 ferals.
I hope that your group is able to raise funds to help Tipper.

Katie
