Puerto Rico... land of rice and beans.
I have just depleted a single set of AA batteries in less than 24 hours... hearing rock music in my CD player. And the entire package of 24 batteries went awash in about a week.

Every single one of those CDs are copied into my PC's hard drive, and I hear copies instead of the originals because I hear them sooo much that in less than a month it will already have a large 360° circular scratch, and within two or three months the thing will already start to show problems reading the disc. So I keep copies in the hard drive so I can easily make more copies.

One of my friends is now lending me a few of his discs so I can copy them to obtain a copy myself.

I listen to some of the loudest discs during the night lying in my bed to help me sleep... and it works!

Yes, I know... my music tastes are questionable

I think I am in desperate need of an AC adapter or rechargeable batteries... can't keep using up family size packages in a week and a half. Either that or rockers anonymous.

I'm a rock fan myself. If it's not obvious, I'm totally into Kiss. I also love Metallica, Great White, Poison, Cinderella, AC/DC and that sort of thing. I guess you could call me an 80's metal head.

Movin' on up!
I gave up on rock-'n-roll, when disco came in. If its post-1975, I probably don't like it.

Strangely enough, BILL likes '80s heavy metal and he's 59! Go figure.

I'm no fan of disco, myself. I don't consider that rock and roll at all. It's dance music.

As far as someone being 59 and liking rock music, don't forget most of those Heavy Metal stars are in their 40's and 50's today. All of the guys from Kiss are in their 50's, and they still rock. Mick Jagger (not really heavy metal, but rock and roll, just the same), is in his late 50's or early 60's. David Bowie is in his late 50's. So, I don't find that to be unusual at all, that a 59 year old man likes hard rock and metal.

My husband is totally into rock music. Especially the 80's and the new generation. As for myself I love a variety. But the bands that I like are Aerosmith, Switchfoot, Blink-182, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Slipknot, etc. You get the picture! Haha! Music somehow always puts me in a good mood. Whether it be dance/trance, rock/metal, r&b/hip hop, or hawaiian.
