Just found a new Game Franz likes to play, but it perplexes me. I've had him a month, he's about 8, 15 lb Maine Coon mix. He still rather frightened, well skitish is more like it. Not with me, big cuddler, belly rubber (his, not mine!)Purr, Purr, Purr. But frightened of objects, new people etc. Just figured out (I think) why he is sooo frightened of my bedroom. I have a bedroom door with glass panes and he sees his reflection of this "other" big cat. So I will be covering the bottom half of the door soon.

The Merry-Go-Round Game involves my computer desk chair. He LOVES this chair, if I leave it for a minute he will be on it...guess he likes my rump aroma! One night I almost sat on him. The other night while he was sitting there, I gave the chair (a swivel chair) a slight turn...he LOVED it! Rolled on his back and looked at me like a kid on a swing as if to say "Faster Mom Faster!" Well I have sped it up some and he just goes nuts over it. I assume he does not get dizzy due to a cat's excellent equilibrium. What mystifies me is how can such a skittish cat, enjoy something so "daring" Anyone else with a spinning cat???

Amber loves my computer chair too. Not so much the spinning, but she loves to get running super fast and then jumps on the chair so it cann roll across the room. Usually it rolls and spins at the same time. I have given her a few spins while she was on the chair, she just looks at me like, what are you doing

LOL!
Same here- Buddy LOVES to run, hop onto the computer chair and it'll roll AND slide! Often he'd be on the chair and Spike will start bopping him on the head so soon they'd get into a bopping match!
It's really funny to watch.

Jc broke my desk chair a few months ago, doing one of his "dead-weight jumps", and I replaced it with a swivel chair. He LOVES to leap up on it and make it spin, or have us spin him around. He's sort of skittish, too. He has always loved the glider we have in the backyard - the faster it goes, the better. He rides around on our shoulders all the time, too. Unfortunately, he doesn't like to be picked up and carried, and he hates car rides. Maybe I should push him the few miles to the vets' on the swivel chair!

Dori likes to sleep in my computer chair and sharpen her claws on it. I have tried spinning her and she ran away. (She's not a very daring kitty

If you did push him to the vets, I guess you would have a Autobahn Cat...no speed limits...wheeeeeeee!
I always think with Franz "this is no way for him to get exercise", but it's good for me, arms and waist!
