Just found a new Game Franz likes to play, but it perplexes me. I've had him a month, he's about 8, 15 lb Maine Coon mix. He still rather frightened, well skitish is more like it. Not with me, big cuddler, belly rubber (his, not mine!)Purr, Purr, Purr. But frightened of objects, new people etc. Just figured out (I think) why he is sooo frightened of my bedroom. I have a bedroom door with glass panes and he sees his reflection of this "other" big cat. So I will be covering the bottom half of the door soon.
The Merry-Go-Round Game involves my computer desk chair. He LOVES this chair, if I leave it for a minute he will be on it...guess he likes my rump aroma! One night I almost sat on him. The other night while he was sitting there, I gave the chair (a swivel chair) a slight turn...he LOVED it! Rolled on his back and looked at me like a kid on a swing as if to say "Faster Mom Faster!" Well I have sped it up some and he just goes nuts over it. I assume he does not get dizzy due to a cat's excellent equilibrium. What mystifies me is how can such a skittish cat, enjoy something so "daring" Anyone else with a spinning cat???
