I have given up on trying to get Blade to stop Scratching my bed. I have tried Bubble wrap, a balloon, and just plaing telling him NO. But he has totally distroyed one cornor of my box spring. I even went out and bought a Cat Condo for him to scratch on and had it right there by the part of the bed he scratches but he would knock it over and then scratch the bed. So the condo now sits in the living room for Willow to use. She's never had a problem with Scratching....she's always used the aproved scatching items we have. So this is totally new to me. Well not totally because I did get him to stop scratching the couch by using bubble wrap, but now he thinks that's fun to scratch. So once a month I put a thing of bubble wrap on one of our scratch pads for him to play with......Strange cat!!!! My SO want's to declaw him.....but I am totally against that! So I was looking into Soft paws.......But those are only last a little while. I am willing to buy them on a maybe once or twice basis but I was wondering what other options there are that might last a little bit longer. I figured I would ask all of you on here and seeing what suggestions I can get. I am at a loss right now, and can't deal with my bed being torn apart!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
DON'T GIVE UP! I'm sure someone will have better advice, but have you tried aluminum foil? Two-sided tape? Squirt bottle? Can full of coins to shake and startle him? Show him how to use the proper places and joyfully tell him what a good boy he is, maybe put catnip on them? Just a couple of quick thoughts..Please don't lose hope!

Brand new product on the market. I do not know anything about it- other than the gentleman sent me an email telling me about it-
But it looks like it might work for you.

Thank you for NOT declawing

Couch Corners

The site takes a loooooong time to load- be patient

I won't use aluminum Foil because it is harmful to him.........I can try the two sided tape. and as for a squirt bottle it doesn't phase him. I have used other things to startle him and that just makes him scratch harder as he jets under the bed. He knows what the cat condo is for but never uses it. He will sit there and watch Willow scratch on it. But no matter what I plan on fixing this problem. one way or another! lol No worries I'm not the type to give up
it's just FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!

Those would be nifty if it was for my couch.....But this is my bed. I totally refuse to declaw! I have seen a few sites around that show the whole process of declawing and I for one could never put my babies through that! plus They need to be able to protect themselves if they ever get lost. so no worries about that!
