Charlies Gone. Just got back from the Vet.

This is the last picture I took before taking him. He is not in pain anymore and went very peasefully. He went with family around him.
14 1/2 years old.

I'm sorry - my sympathies. I know how painful it is to lose a beloved pet who had been such a big part of your life. It's some consolation to know that he crossed over peacefully in the presence of those who loved him. This will probably be moved to the "Rainbow Bridge" forum, where you can exchange thoughts, stories, and so on, about losing your long-time companion.

Oh WOE- I am so sorry for the ache in your heart and the emptiness in your life now. I know how hard it was to make the decision, but making it shows just how much you loved Charlie.

This won't be moved, not yet. Charlie was one of the cats from near the beginning of this board. He was our sort of mascot from time to time when you shared him with us.

So sorry the lovely boy had to leave, and you had to make the decision for him -- that last act of love that, for its difficulty, is often the largest. May you come to your own peace, knowing he's at rest.

Thank you so much for your kind words. When I posted his picture here I actually would show him. He loved the forum also. You all made him an internet star and he just loved to have is picture taken.

I will get another cat because I just love them and always have had one but it's gonna take some time.

Thank you all for loving him so much it makes him and me smile.

So sorry for the loss of Charlie, I just loved your pics of him! It's never easy to make the decision to let them go, but at least he's in no pain now at the bridge. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
