Ruby finally got spayed yesterday.

I don't remember if I mentioned it or not,but I had bloodwork done on her a while back and she had a VERY high ALT(liver function)so she couldn't be put under anesthesia.
We put her on meds and special food and I tested her again the other day and it was up just a little, but not bad enough to not do the surgery.
I don't know what is going on with her liver, but I am planning on testing her ALT again in a few weeks and if it has went up again or has not dropped to normal,I guess I will have to see what the vet recommends we do to see what the problem is.She is a young cat..not even a year old yet,so I don't know what is going on with her.

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news. She is upset with me because I have her put up,but she keeps wanting to get on top of my cabinets and we can't be having any of that right now.LOL.
But I am so glad she is done. She came into heat the other day and was about to drive me nuts.LOL.

So now all I have to worry about now is getting these abandoned kittens raised and then get them fixed and adopted.

I do have someone interested in one of them,so keep your fingers crossed.

Aww i'm so pleased the ordeal is over for not only little Ruby but for yourself as well.

Its always a tense and nervous time when they go under and you just want them back home with you asap.

I hope all goes well on the liver tests when you have them done, but keep us informed

That is excellent news...I'm glad it all worked out...I'm sure she will forgive you soon.
