Yesterday, I had two cavities filled. By 7:00 p.pm, the fillings had come out. This was before I brushed my teeth.
This morning, I called the dentist and, since she isn't in on Fridays, told the receptionist what had happened. She called me back, a few minutes later and said that the dentist said that I should be OK, over the weekend and they could get me in, on Monday.
Fortunately, these are very small, shallow cavities but, I AM uncomfortable, cannot chew on the left side and must be careful with hot or cold liquids. Needless to say, I am going to spend part of my weekend, on the insurance company's website, shopping for a new dentist. This not only costs me my co-pay but, the time lost from work, to have this work re-done. I am NOT paying for the fix!
I have one other filling, that has been in place for over 20 years. Is it too much to ask that one's fillings outlast the anesthesia?
Cindy is NOT a happy camper!
