Hello! I'm new here. I'm currently a graduate student and mom/servant to two beautiful cats. They are approximately 9-10 months old and I have had them since they were found abandoned at approximately 12 weeks old. This has been my first time owning kittens, and it's definitely been an experience! One is a shorthair tortie named Loki and another is a long-haired calico named Thor. They are the joy of my life!

Welcome! Your kitties are beautiful! There are no pets more grateful and loving than cats that have been rescued from the street, at least that's what I believe.

Trust me, I was in a similar situation last year. Never owned a cat, didn't want one to be honest but then fate intervened. On rainy November day, I kept hearing loud meows coming from outside my door.

I opened it up and there she was, Amira! Little did I know it but this little fur ball was going to steal my heart during the time I was trying to find an owner for her. She's been with me ever since.

They are absolutely gorgeous! How fortunate they are to have a mummy like you.

Aloha and welcome to TCS...you will find plenty helpful forums and people here....I do have a question...is it confirmed Thor is a boy? Or are you just going with the theme? I ask because male calicos are extremely rare [emoji]128580[/emoji] please feel free to post more piks and if you have any questions feel free to ask...oh and what are you studying? Thanks everyone! Glad to be here. And I definitely have found them to be so so loving. I sometimes joke that it was they who rescued me, not the other way around. They are both females, so their names night be a bit silly but it suits them somehow!

Wonderful to meet you and your little loves! They are pretty.

We all have something in companion here ,: our cat's being the center of joy in our lives. As TabbyTom said this site has many good references as well.

I love the people here, everyone is so nice to chat with. I'm sure you will find the same!!

Thor is a girl! Silly name, I know, but it suits her long flowing mane and pouncing abilities. I'm studying mental health, specializing in working with children [emoji]9786[/emoji]️
