Not sure if this is even odd behavior for the stray kitty

that I've been feeding daily.  I notice that she seems

to sometimes prefer to eat the dry food off the floor

instead of eating from the bowel like the other kitties.

What she'll do is take her paw and move the bowel

forward to spill some of the food on the ground and

then eat it.  I know she's capable of eating from the

bowel directly by observing her and sometimes I

find the whole bowel spilled of it's contents.  Anybody

else have this problem.

I have a recently adopted cat (who is estimated to be about 2or 3 years old) who won't eat out of a bowl.
I just use a plate for him- he's happy with that!

Some say it's because they don't like their whiskers touching the sides of the bowl.

(For my guy I think it's because he was a fast food scavenger- he never ate out of a bowl; why should he start now?! haha)
