There are many stray cats in my area, one of them had four kittens three days ago, they're in the park near my house.
About Twix, I'm afraid she's in someone's house and they'll say she's their cat.
Oreo got lost when he was 2 months old and I saw him in my neighbor's house's backyard, they were trying to catch him so he don't get back to me or something, my mum told them we're the owners of Oreo and they said "show us the proof, this is my cat, not yours" and I showed them all pictures I had of Oreo that time and they had to give Oreo back.
Twix is the only Tortoiseshell kitten in my area, there are two other Tortoiseshell cats, they are about an year old.
Many kids are trying to catch Twix from a week.
Last week, a little boy was trying to scare Twix by barking like a dog.
My mum said someone might've took her.
I've seen that boy trying to catch more cats and dogs here, I don't know if Twix is with him. But like I said, she's really hard to catch. There's no way she's kidnapped or something.
I'm gonna go find her tomorrow..
I'm not sure if you are understanding how serious this is. She likely had a litter somewhere. You need to find her and the babies and bring them all inside your home.

First order of business is finding her and bringing her home.

Please keep all of your cats inside if you cannot guarantee their safety. Get them fixed as soon as possible.

Then, see what you can do to help the strays. They need to be fixed too, or there will be endless suffering.

Is someone caring for the cat in the park with kittens?

It sounds as though your area is overrun with cats. This is why they need spaying snd neutering.

talkingpeanut talkingpeanut Its 10:17 Pm, its night here. I can't go out and look for her right now, I want to but I can't.
I know this is serious.
I love my cats, I know I'm not a very good owner but a lot has been happening, I have to study from 10 Am - 2 Pm everyday, if I fail in my finals, my dad will give my cats away, or believe it of not, he might kill them. I know I should've neutered and spayed them but I only had time when they were little, now I have no time.
I said I'll try and look for a vet to get them neutered and spayed.
Please just help me on how to bring Twix back home or how to find her..
I've been calling her name and walking in the neighborhood almost all day.
I've been having these allergies since I was born and I'm trying my best to take care of my cats and not get sick by how much work I'm doing. :(
I hope you understand, I'm only 15.
I'm gonna try my best to ask my mum and find my cat, keep them separated and get them neutered and spayed.

Yeah, right.
There's a man who's taking care of the kittens and cat and planning to somehow get that cat spayed.

Get some rest and hopefully you'll find Twix tomorrow. Keep us posted!
Third day without Twix just started.
Yesterday night, at 9:37 Pm, that's when I came home from the walk ( forgot to mention this yesterday ), I was looking for Twix the whole time. Well, but when we came back home, my aunt, mum, cousin and I thought I heard Twix's meows and we ran out as fast as we could but she was nowhere, I called her name, but still couldn't find her..
Today, I'm gonna try call her name and try to listen carefully where her meows are coming from. If someone is keeping her in their house, they have to give me my cat back.
Everyone in my area know that Oreo and Twix are my cats because I'm the one who even shouted at the boy who was trying to catch Twix, I apologised his mum.. Everyone here knows how mad I can get if I find out someone have my Twix...
I've been crying so much since Twix is gone... I want her back..
I will hug her, give her food and water and even let her sleep on my bed (even though my dad doesn't let me, he thinks I'm allergic to cats but I'm not).. I just want her back now, I miss her :(

Keep walking and listening in any spare time you have. She can be in or under any building through some very small holes.

Call her, stop and listen. Walk all around every building, call again. Walk around any boxes or trash piles, call and listen. Take a flashlight to look into holes under buildings.

I know you are studying for your finals. I think with the time difference, it's just about 2 pm (14:00 hrs) local time.

Walk, call, listen.
If Twix eats treats, take a bag of treats you can shake to see if she will come out of a hiding place for her treats. Take a stinky can of food, like tuna (even people tuna) to see if you can get her out of hiding.

I'm so sorry she is still missing. Hopefully you can find her.

You might need to go hunting after dark tonight. Ask your mom or dad or an older brother or sister to come with you after dark. Again, you need flashlights to look into holes or buildings.

Call and listen. Walk all around buildings and look for ways she may have gotten out.

Ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages and car parks. Take a picture to your neighbors.

Ask the neighbors as nicely as you can. Just ask, don't accuse them. i think most people will see that you are really upset and would give Twix back if you're upset, and still asking nicely.

If your Mom and Dad worry about you asking people by yourself, see if one of them will come with you. They have to see how upset you are, and they also must be aware your studies will not go as well when you are so upset.

If she is going to have kittens, the neighbors probably don't want her If she is still in heat, that will bother most neighbors and they will likely let her out again.

foxden foxden I've done everything you all said, I still can't find her :(
I don't think I can ever find her, every time I think of her, I start crying. I can't even study anymore..
My mum said she'll get me a new cat, but no, I just want my Twix back :(
I haven't even eaten anything. I miss my cat...
Thinking she will never come back makes me cry every time :(
My aunt and mum said Twix might've had kittens and is living someone else's house, they tell me they have kept many cats (that's true, my mum and aunt had like 7 or 9 cats), they keep telling me Twix will be back because some cats change places when they're with kittens. One time my almost 7 month old cat had kittens for the first time and she kept hiding and changing places, one day she's in bathroom, next day she's in basement. That was our old house though, this one doesn't have basement. And then she took her kittens in someone else's house and that was exactly same thing as this. She didn't came home for 1-2 weeks, and then suddenly I heard meows, and looked in the backyard and there was my cat with two beautiful kittens.
Talking about this makes me feel like Twix will come back soon. I hope she does..
Today I couldn't look for her too much because my mum's aunt is very sick so we visited her, she's really old and lives alone so we needed to go. Tomorrow I'll try to look for her again.

Thank you so much for telling me Twix might be fine, seriously, I needed people to tell me Twix might be safe because I kept crying.

I'll keep you all updated.

My goodness, it sounds like you're too young and don't have the time or resources to properly care for the cats. :(

Do you have any time to sit quietly in your backyard this evening?

Twix could be moving mostly at night, and she might wander by and hear you calling.

She might come to you if you sit and call instead of moving around. You might hear her meow better if you are still.

I'm just offering ideas. I had my last indoor/outdoor kitty more than 30 years ago.

I think she will come back, even after several days.

She knows there is food at your house, and I think you said she was usually an indoor/outdoor kitty.

You will need to approach her slowly, quietly and gently when you see her. She is likely to be very nervous and skittish after several days outside.

Keep looking and don't give up. Get your neighbors to help, especially if they feed outdoor cats.

One of the neighbors might see her and give you a new place to look.

You need to call her name with love while you look and call. I know this is very difficult to do when you are upset. Our cats can sense our feelings, too

You have to take care of yourself, even in this difficult time. Our cats can sense our feelings and if we don't feel well.

You must eat and be able to do your other tasks such as studying.

This is an important time in your life, and you need to put effort and time into your studies as well.

When I'm overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings and can not focus on things I have to do -- I have learned to write my thoughts down very quickly and then go back to my work.

By writing the thought down you can "put it aside" for a little while and you know you will not forget it later. That helps me focus on the other things that I have to do.

Please take care. I am thinking good thoughts for you and Twix. I know there are many other members who also hope Twix will come home to you.

foxden foxden My aunt and cousin just saw a dead cat outside my house when they were leaving...
My cousin told me its a Tortoiseshell, and then I thought I would pass out. My mum and I went out as fast as we could..
I was hoping it isn't Twix and then my aunt said it looks like a Tabby, Oreo is a Tabby and he just went out ( he's not staying in since Twix is lost :( ), I swear I felt like something's bad gonna happen..

My mum and I went out and saw it WAS a Tortoiseshell.. I was gonna cry, that cat look so much like Twix, three black and one golden paw.. But, Twix has a golden "x" mark on her chest, that cat doesn't. That poor cat was also bigger than Twix, she could be Twix's mum, there are not so many Tortoiseshells here.. Twix is a Persian/Tabby mix I believe. I feel bad for the poor cat who died, she's in heaven now.

I'm still hoping Twix comes back safely. Oreo is now home and eating his food.. He's not even eating properly and going in and out of the house every 15 minutes.. He keeps looking in every corner of house, maybe hoping he'll find Twix..

Twix's room, bed and food bowl.. Everything she used is empty :(

Oreo keeps sniffing Twix's collar.. When Twix went out, she had no collar so that's making the problem bigger since most people keep cats with no collars and never think they could be someone else's...

I think Twix is out somewhere with my granddad's cat because I didn't saw him yesterday and today.

I don't care if she comes back home pregnant, I'll be getting her spayed, we contacted the vet (last year Oreo had allergic reaction with cat food and his cheek got swollen then bursted, his eye became red and it was bleeding, so we found this vet, I gotta say this, Oreo got better only after the second visit! The vet is great), he's really, really far from my house though but I don't care.

I would do anything to see my cats happy.

Its hard to keep him inside, he keeps growling and hissing at me when I try to keep him inside.
Its like he has promised himself to find Twix.. He look really sad.

I hope Twix comes back so Oreo will stay inside and I'll be getting them neutered and spayed.

It's not up to him. Make a decision as his owner or you might lose them both.

I know what I'm doing, I've had him from 2 years, he's 2 years old.
I know he likes being out so I let him, every indoor cat I had has died, because they can't deal with the colder weather in some places if they don't deal with outside world. Its natural for cats to be outdoor cats.

Cats are free animals, we can't keep them inside if they don't want to.

My 7 indoor kittens died because of the cold weather, I tried my best to keep them warm, their mum died.
My aunt knows very much about cats because she is keeping cats since she was nine, its been more than 34 years.

My dad is doctor, he don't like cats but he knows about them.

I don't think what I'm doing is wrong because I wouldn't like if someone kept me inside when I want to go out.

I can't deal with a crying and mad cat when I'm studying.
I'm not trying to sound mean but I'm upset right now, Sorry..

This is simply not true. 7 indoor cats dying before you are 15? That's not normal. Cats lead long and healthy lives completely inside. By letting him outside you are endangering his life, and you're lucky that nothing has happened yet.
