cat showing behavior from when she was a little kitten.

my cat has been really needy today, like when she was young. She keeps making me carry her like a baby and climbing all the way up to my shoulder when I'm busy washing dishes or cleaning her water and food bowls. Is this normal? She hasn't done this in a long time

Keep your eye on her. Cats hide their illnesses. Make sure she is eating and drinking normally and that she is still playing and the sleeping too much. If all of the above checks out.. maybe she just felt a little lonely. We get like that sometimes too. But be aware that any change in behavior in cats could be a sign for concern.

Yes I know, my other cat a year back hid her illness for a few days and wasn't eating or drinking much then we took her to the vet but she was holding in her pee because she was angry and had a stomach bug I think then they gave her antibiotics and squeezed her bladder to make her pee. But my cat that is acting like a kitten all over again, she is eating just fine and drinking like normal. Running like crazy all day, and kneading my leg while trying to fall asleep right now with me. My other cat didn't play with her today like she usually does because she was sleepy from being crazy all night. Maybe she was lonely then. Had no one to play with and was just playing with herself then turned to me? I'm keeping an eye on her.
