Just a heads up. If you order from HT and use 4 day ground shipping Monday March 27th is the last day of that service until fall. I thought that usually ended in April so just had a delivery on Friday . I ended up making another order last night.I just can't afford paying for air delivery to CA.--- I am not sure but, your order may have to be in by tomorrow night.

Darn, I was going to make my first ever order during the first week of April as I do not have the funds currently. Hopefully it will not be too terribly expensive to ship to Michigan!

If a ground shipment can make it to Michigan in 3 days you may be in luck.

That has to be because you are in Arizona,.Here in N. CA summer is very hot but, winter not so much.I am grateful for the ground shipping I ordered at total of 110 lbs from HT in the last two weeks.I am hoping that all that + grinding chicken and adding some Rad Cat and Freeze dried once in awhile will get me to fall without paying air shipping.

Yeah maybe, but Dec/Jan are pretty cold in AZ. I actually grew up in NorCal and it's not that cold there in the winter either. It's not bad tho 3 day shipping is only $40 for me. I'm actually going to place another 55lbs order in the next month or so before it heats up hoping I can make it through the hot summer months.

I grew up here too and, I think it is very cold here in the winter. I am sitting in my family room wearing a down jacket. Ha ha, my sister lives in Boston, I have no idea how she does it.

Have you ever asked Tracy from HT why you can't get ground shipping?Last summer I missed the usual April cut off and the shipping killed me.Have been grinding chicken and ordering my usual rabbit, quail etc. but, just realized the chicken I have been buying is hormone free but not antibiotic free. Chicken thighs here , which are antibiotic free ( not organic) run at $6.99 a lbs ,so, I think that even with shipping HT is less expensive.

When I read people posting about thighs at $2.99 a lbs. I am so jealous.I am trying to think of a way to admit to my husband that my grinding days are just about done unless, I find a good buy or there is an emergency.- By the way 3 day ground is $30 ? Gosh, 4 day ground shipping to me is almost $40.I can't get 3 day ground shipping, takes longer than 3 days to get here. I forgot 3 day ground was an option for some.
