My cat recently had a liter of 4 about a week ago. And tonight I seen her getting a little to rough with one of the babies! I panicked and yelled Zoe!! And she stopped and just looked at me.. should I be really worried?? Because I don't want her to hurt them!!! They are only about a week old

And she'll look at them randomly and keep meowing at them while they are sleeping? Is that normal??

At just one week old? Their eyes are slightly starting to open..Poor things! You really need some advise help D: If she kept  hurting them stop her 'cause they are still so small and young. They actually need her tenderness and warmness, give her attention and pet her maybe she needs that too..

I never had such a situation before, I would wonder why like you.. Make a thread, there is so many people here that can help you pretty much.

Has she been outside? Is there a chance she's pregnant again, as my cat did this when she fell preg again, her kits were around the 4 week old mark.

What do you mean by rough? Some rough play or cleaning might happen, squealing from a kitten is normal. Is she actually hurting them, drawing blood or just rough housing? That she has raised them a week seems to indicate everything is normal, I would keep an eye on her to see if it is discipline or really hurtful behavior. If she does actually draw blood or hurt one, they may have to be hand raised. Wait until teh kittens get old enough to rough house, you'll swear tehy are really hurting each other! Good luck! PS you also are on a really old thread, 2006, so you might want to click on 'Start a New Thread' in the light blue rectangular box on the bottom left, it may get you more replies.
