Hello my cat just gave birth to 4 kittens this morning , 1 of them died and 2 of them are in good shape and the third one is weak , refuse to drink milk and looks thinner than the rest but he is breathing normally, what can I do to help him drink milk from his Momy ?! The other thing is every 10 minutes or so my cat leaves her kittens and come running to me and lay down next to me demanding me to pet her , is that normal or is she suffering from something? Please help , and thank You all in advance

Its quite common cats wants to come to their Momma (or Dad!).   A good solution may be to have your matterass(!) near the nest.  or have her nest at your bed.

OK, what to do with the little one.  You apparently must pay some extra attention.  Perhaps even feed it yourself.

Are the stronger pushing it off the nipple?  If so, do rotate them.  Let big siblings have their midday nap a little aside, in their own little nest, with heating pad or IR-lamp, while the weak one gets quality time with momma.  Be there with momma too, so she stays calm with the weak one.  Encourage her to take good care.

If it doesnt works good, you must give her food yourself.  Use goats milk (best raw) or some kmr  (NOT Hartz; preferably KMR in powder, but there are many other brands too).

Weight the kittens every day - this weak one every 12 hours, till you see it adds.    6 grammes a day adding is a minimum, but healthy kittens usually adds 10+grammes a day...

Some ideas, please return for more instructions depending on the exact situation.

You can get a syringe and kitten formula and slowly give the kitten drops of formula (one drop at a time) in the side of the mouth. You can also put honey on the kitten's gums to perk it up. Hopefully it will get strong enough to nurse mom soon!

Are you keeping mom in one room with everything she needs and the kittens?

Can you keep her inside and away from intact males?

Unfortunately the 3 kittens died this morning, she brought the last one to me hoping I can save him and what's strange is the one that was left was the weak kitty , I tried feeding him kitty milk and warm him up , but he could not make it either [emoji]128577[/emoji]

I'm so sorry to hear this. There must have been something wrong with the kittens at birth since they only lived a day. RIP little ones!

How is mama kitty doing?
