Is Remi a type of Lynx Point?

This is our almost 2 yo male, Remi. From what searching I've been able to do, Lynx Point is the closest description I have come across. He is a very large and solid bodied cat. His tabby stripes and spots almost become a kind of Flame Point coloring in many places. His mom was a cream and blue pointed stray, father unknown, but all his littermates were either solid black, and 2 solid white!
As he has gotten older, more of the typical grey black and brown tabby has become visable.mixed with the reddish color of his stripes/spots. He also has more spots than stripes on his body and belly.im curious as to other opinions and how this comes about in a "mutt" kitty..lol

Correct, he is a lynx point.  The breed is domestic short hair.   I dont manage to see exactly what is the color of the point - you see it on the ears, tail and the masque. Its dark, but not black.   Blue perhaps, as mommy had?

He is reddish on the body as its the natural color of points which shines through.

I suspect momma was / is a diluted tortie point, because you describe her as  creme and blue.   Father?    I think he was solid white, = all white....  And of course, did carried the point gene.

Im not sure, but I do suspect one or even both of the solid whites could be a point too; as the solid white covers other colors...   And whites have often blue eyes, so nobody would notice its really point-blue eyes...

Because, with one point x a carrier, you typically get half of the kittens pointed.   And here we have only one in five.

OK, what about the tabby pattern?  its dominant, if you have the gene it shows.   And momma hadnt it, and daddy is all white?

Yes, but the all white gene has the property of being able to cover all other colors and patterns, even if they are there.

So the tabby gene was in the daddy too,  concealed behind all the white.
