You might want to suggest to your brother that he also begin working with a cat shelter or rescue organization. People at shelters and rescues are always looking for new people who can foster and help cats with health issues.

Most shelters are very accepting of people with mental health and emotional challenges. They recognize that people with mental health issues are able to bond with cats in ways that a lot of people find to be more difficult.

A shelter may be also be able to assist by coordinating vet care for your brother's foster kitties and help keep the costs under control.

Your brother is doing a great thing by caring for these sick kitties. Let him know there are a lot of members here who also care for sick strays and are rooting for him
