Jaspurr is my intervention cat from a home of 65 cats. He also has feline herpes which he had when i adopted him. I keep him on L-lysine which seems to be keeping the herpes at bay.  Lately i've noticed at night he seems to be wheezing or slightly choking.

I'm not sure if it might have something to do with his inbreeding as both of his back legs are deformed, his sight is compromised, as well as his hearing.      Maybe perhaps his internal organs are deformed as well?

He seems to be ok otherwise.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do or what it is?  He is my therapy cat as i have health issues and he is great comfort to me.

It could be one of a number of things from a hairball to asthma to something more serious.  I would take video if possible and take him and the video to the vet.
