Hello!  I joined TCS about 6 months ago but am finally getting around to setting things up and introducing myself.  The amount of information here is amazing!

I live in Boston and have been fostering cats for two different shelter/rescues for 1.5 years.  My husband and I sat down this weekend and tallied up how many cats we have fostered, and were surprised to see that we were up to 39!  Except for the 5 currently living with me, all have found amazing forever homes.

The sad, neglected felines found at my house are not the fosters.  Nope, they are the ignored, unloved resident cats (I call them "perma-cats"), so pathetic and abandoned.  Or so they would have you think.  They break out the sad songs and violins every time they see a new cat carrier being brought up to the foster room, or have to deal with a rogue kitten running through their space.  In truth, they do have to share mommy's time, but Angus, Jasmine, Heidi, and Caspian are spoiled little beasties.  But since they feel so left out, I'll resist the urge to post pics of my fosters and instead show the world their long-suffering faces.

Jasmine is all about posing.

This is my first foster failure (I hate that term!) Heidi the One-Eyed Tabby.

Angus, the boss-man (taken 12 years ago when he was a lad).

And last but not least...Caspian, my second foster failure.  We just adopted him in Feb.  Caspian is FIV+ and stinking cute.

Hello Vervainandrue, welcome to you and your kitties to TCS :wavey:

Thank you for your love for these kitties and fostering them. Kitties like them needs you and you are one that understands them even if they are foster failures. Otherwise, they do not have a chance to live.

Glad that you've joined us and finally posting. Your kitties are beautiful! Do post more of their photos and do share your fostering experiences with the fellow forumers so that those who wants to foster kitties will have an idea of what to expect ;)

Welcome to TCS !  They are all lovely kitties, but Jasmine is simply exquisite (and it appears that she knows that). It's always nice to see a new Snowshoe on TCS; there are three of the rotten delightful things on this months photo contest:

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/336160/...ctive-cats-photos-pic-of-the-month-march-2017

Norachan's stunning Sophie (watching her pal Jiro from the lower right), Kieka's gorgeous Link as a kitten, and my own evil beautiful Moo Shu Snowshoe, who's forcing me to write this.

It's good to see that you're keeping the proper ten percent of your Rehab Kitties, by the way - you have 4 after fostering 39; I have ten out of 99 Feral Fixer Uppers - which means our success rate is about 90%.

We hope you'll stay around and share more pictures of your charming Family !
