She shouldn't really have a strong odor.  You said the veterinarian gave her a bath.  The smell is probably from a medicated shampoo he used.  He may have given her a flea product or possibly some dip for mange (though she doesn't look mangy in the photos).  Anyway, you are probably smelling something the vet used which will go away in a few days.

Or are you talking about cat litter odor when she pees or poops?

Another thought on her meowing when you touch one spot on her side.  That may be where the vet injected the four shots you said he injected her with vaccines.  Where he put the shots will be tender for a couple of days.

Awwww so sad. There has to b a vet out there tht can help. Try and find one if not maybe a shelter or rescue place. All I know is she needs help. She seems like a great cat and u will b lucky to have each other. I too have a kitten tht was found abandoned my her mom and then another cat from shelter. They r both very good and very loving. My kitten from the shelter doesn't hiss growl bite or anything she is a sweetheart and ur cat reminds me of her. I hope u keep her.:)

She's purring nonstop because she thinks she died & went to heaven. She looks to be in excellent condition for a street cat. Maybe someone recently dumped her.

Kudos to you for saving her from a horrible life. When will she be spayed?

Don't worry about your scratch. You will definitely live. [emoji]128526[/emoji]

BTW, what is her name?

horrible news

Everything was going great with peaches until today.
The day started with nothing out of the ordinary. I sleep next to her every night. She actually puts he paws on me to make sure i stay and if i get up to get wtaer, she would wake up and follow me .
I emptied a can of cat food (chicken) and my friend told me the can is supposed to last for a couple of weeks but whatever.
Anyway, we were watchinh tv
Petting her
Shes purring nonstop as usual
Then i decided to give her a bath. So i carrid her and shes a very moody cat. Sometimes she loves being carried and sometimes she doesn't.
Keep ih mind shes never shown aggression or hostility. Ever
So im walking with her to the bathroom wjen out of nowhere she started hissing and suddenly turned her head and bit AND scratched me hard.
I admit my reaction was horrible and if it were to ever happen again i wldnt have that same reaction.
So i let go of her and aa soon as she touched the ground i kicked her away then o chased her
She ran away and hid sonewhere and i went to chexk on my wounds.
After that i went looking for her jn the entire house adnd turns out she was sitting still behind the curtain and wheb i saw her she hissed again and took the attack position so i kinda showed dominance bht without touching her and she ran into the balcony.
I live on the fourth floor so as soon as she climbed she figured out we were pretty high up. I kept telling her to come but she was still hostile.
Then she almosy fell and grabbed gbe edge .
I extended my arm to pull her back in but she wldnt allow it and then she sljpped couldnt grab anything and actually fell four stories down!!!
I was like ****!! I couldnt look n see the impact
I heard the crash. And there she was laying on the ground and stayed like that
But amazingly about 2 min later got up shoot it off and ran away.. i ran downstairs vut sje was nowhere to be found!
Feel like shit now!!

That's terrible. She was adjusting and still frightened. Please keep looking for her. She is definitely injured.

You haven't found peaches? If you find her, please take her to the vet and get peaches checked again. 4 stories is pretty high, she can have internal bleeding or sprain/broke something. Have you got peaches spayed? If not, you should do so. It may help with the way she's acting, it could be hormonal. Or maybe she smelled or saw something she didn't like and is reacting to it by attacking you.

I'm so sorry. Please keep looking for her. You might be able to get her close with food. Stinky wet food would be best. Try putting food in a cat carrier or cage covered in a blanket.

When you catch her, you need to see the vet again. She could be hurt.

You will need to take petting her and holding her at her pace. My kitties are wonderful indoor cats, but are not fond of being held. They tolerate being held, but I have been holding them since they were kittens.

I hope you find Peaches and she is ok.

Back up to where she didn't want to go into the bathroom.  Have you bathed her since the veterinarian bathed her and she did not like being bathed?  She may be afraid of the bathroom.  Most cats really hate to be put in water and don't need many baths, if ever.  Why did you want to bath her?  Sounds like something about the bathroom scared her and if you were restraining her so that she could not get away from you to avoid the bathroom, she attacked you to get down.  She would only attack you like that if she was terrified of something.

OK, so you really do need to go look for her and take her to a veterinarian as soon as you find her.  I hope she lives through this.

I've been looking all day
Nothing!

No only ghe vet bathed her and i watched she didnt even resist. I wanted to bathe her cz she smelled really bad for a few days

I didnt even get to turn the water on or anything i was just taking her into the bathroom for the first time ever

Btw she obeys me all the time. Like uf she doenst wanna be held or go a certain direction or sit still or anything but i kinda force her to do it. She obeys quietly and leaves whenever she gets the chance to

Like she turned aggressive when her leg healed. Like usually when i pet her and touche where it hurts.l, she neows gently to let me know and if i keep going she meows about 6 more timrs then tries to stop me with her paws. But never hostile EVER!

She usually hides quietly even when someone hits her. She tajes it n closes her eyes and hides

I'm glad you are not trying to give her frequent baths.  That's a good thing.

No one should ever hit the cat.  Ever.  You will destroy the relationship with her and make her vicious and shy.  Cats have no idea why they are being hit.  They just think that humans are mean.  It is, in fact, mean to hit the cat.  Please tell whoever is hitting the cat to stop.  The cat always needs to be treated gently with great care.

She may have been too frightened to respond.

You mean that people were hitting her at the building where you work, when you first found her?

Well, she clearly was building trust in you since you were feeding her and then took her home.  It didn't help that you lost your temper and kicked her, then she fell off the balcony.  This is a real tragedy for the little young kitty.

Try to go look for her again.  She may be lying under some bushes close by or in any small hiding area.  If she is very badly injured she went off somewhere to hide to die.  I'm very sorry.  I hope that is not what happened to her.

Please continue to look for her.
She is probably very scared. Look behind bushes and in dark corners

Is there a place you could put a box or carrier on the ground and leave some food in it? She might think it is a good place to hide

Did she fall onto grass or soft dirt, or did she fall onto concrete or other hard surface?  She may have a bit of a chance if she fell on a softer surface.  Either way, a four story fall has probably caused some serious injury.

I totally agree with @Orange&White.

@dccc ....How long has it been since she fell, to the time that it is in Egypt, now?

Were you able to put out some smelly chicken food, smelly fish food, or look around the neighbourhood, and call her name?

She may not come to you, if she is frightened of you, initially.

But if you put out some food, and softly call her name...and wait at a distance...then she may return for food.
